Instruc­tions
  1. Pre­heat oven to 350 degrees Fahren­heit.
  2. But­ter the inside of the ramekins. Sprin­kle with sug­ar while shak­ing the ramekins, so the sug­ar sticks to the ramekin sides. See pic­ture.
  3. In a bowl, mix the egg yolks with the Nutel­la®. In a sep­a­rate bowl, whip the egg whites. (To do so, add a pinch of salt, and use an elec­tric mix­er. Whisk always in the same direc­tion, grad­u­al­ly increas­ing speed until the egg whites are stiff.) Add 2 table­spoons of sug­ar, and con­tin­ue whisk­ing for 5 extra sec­onds.
  4. Gen­tly incor­po­rate the Nutel­la® mix­ture to the egg whites. Pour into 4 indi­vid­ual ramekins.
  5. Bake in oven for about 20–25 min­utes. Do not open the oven dur­ing that time. Eat imme­di­ate­ly. Option­al: sprin­kle with sug­ar before serv­ing.
