Tomates farcies, which means stuffed tomatoes, is a very common everyday meal in France. It is easy to make, and pleases the whole family, including kids. It is typical to serve it for dinner, with rice on the side. A quick, easy, and delicious family dinner!
This is my personal recipe. Ingredients are for one stuffed tomato. More likely than not, you will have to make several stuffed tomatoes, about one stuffed tomato per person. Sprinkling with cheese is optional.
Tip: to empty the tomatoes, you can use a big spoon like an ice cream scoop, or a corer.
